The Hamiota & Area Alliance’s approach to community advancement involves committees of dedicated volunteers with experience, expertise, and an interest in helping their community.

• Healthcare

  Focus: to attract cornerstone components that compose a first-class rural healthcare system.

• Building & Development

  Focus: to address issues and pursue opportunities that will stimulate housing activity in our area.

• Lifestyles

  Focus: to provide resource support that proactively encourages and supports lifestyles activities that make our community a desirable place to live.

• Finance & Funds Development

  Focus: to coordinate and support finance related activities of the Community Alliance.

Committees work to understand community strengths and needs within their focus, setting goals and priorities accordingly. This is done through a team approach, engaging and involving area residents in creating a proud, productive and progressive community.

An Executive Committee provides continuity and oversight to Community Alliance initiatives.
